My guess is you didn’t set out to lead by imitation. But somewhere between the promotions and the pressure to perform, it became easy to start borrowing someone else’s version of “leader” instead of building your own.

The alternative isn’t finding a better script to borrow. It’s building your own: a leadership blueprint rooted in your actual values, your actual strengths, and the way you’re wired to make decisions and connect with people (not someone else’s).
